Photo taken in front of house with family in the garden. Father, seated, Mother, right, and three daughters. Back of photo: Handwritten letter from Telford, dated 12/3/1926, to Isabella Cole from her niece, Minnie. Letter includes information on 'terribly dry' conditions 'up here' and the death of a jersey heifer.


Flinders State School, Geelong, c.1910

School students pictured in front of Flinders State School, Geelong. Also known as Matthew Flinders School, it is of architectural significance as an important work of Geelong architects, Backhouse and Reynolds and as one of the finest of the early National schools constructed in Victoria. Group of male and female students in the playground with front of school in the background looking towards Fenwick Street.

Geelong & Barwon Heads Motor Service and Royal Mail delivery van, c.1925

Female driver and passenger in a motor vehicle outside a residence. The delivery van has canvas sides and is possibly towing a canvas covered trailer. Signage is 'Geelong & Barwon Heads Motor Service' along the side of the roof, and 'Royal Mail Barwon Heads' across the front of the roof. The vehicle is on a road in front of a weatherboard house with a picket fence. Large trees are in the background.
