Access status As the book continued to be used until 1959, there are some privacy concerns. Access to this volume may require a Freedom of Information request. Scope and content One volume, leather bound book with partially removed label on spine 'Cases committed for trial'. Volume appears to have been held by 'J' District police station, possibly donated via Mick Robinson? Book includes columns Name of accused/prisoner, Place and Date of committal, Offense, Sentence, Court, Date, Constable, Remarks. It appears that this book was kept by the police department holding prisoners awaiting trial, many are noted as committed and awaiting trial in Geelong but others noted as coming from Colac, Birregurra, Cobden, Lismore etc.
